Doctors United Caters to the Spanish Speaking Population, Janine Zargar

Raising community awareness means addressing the entire community. For Janine Zargar, Vice President of Doctors United, this means including the Spanish-speaking community as well. Doctors United is a health care facility that aims to provide services for all patients, including patients in the minority. Janine Zargar has been with the popular health care facility for more than 14 years and has received numerous awards from churches and organizations for her work with the public.

Doctors United operates out of four offices in the Greater New York and Westchester County areas. In New York, roughly 13.5% of people speak Spanish as their home language. A great number of Doctors United patients are included in this percentage, making Spanish a necessity in the facilities’ operations. All Doctors United locations have mostly Spanish-speaking staff members, and some doctors are fluent as well.

Spanish-speaking patients who require information about Doctors United may visit its website, which has a Frequently Asked Questions section written in Spanish.
